Yes, heated cherry red and smashed vise and a hammer. DO NOT USE Galvanized pipe. 1/2" pipe will work, but I had 3/4", so I used it.

BTW TURBS, I would still redesign them and use Heim joints. Round 2 to OC.

while we are having a break between rounds... how long should I expect it to take to install a set of Strong arms?

My columbus already had all the mounts installed from the factory in the front and took about 30 minutes to install and tighten. "Basically bolt on"

If you don't have the mounts already, expect it to take a couple of hours as you'll have to do some drilling and mounting.

Interesting. My 2016 Wildcat came with the LCI Ground Control 3.0 4 point but it was built different than TURBS like this:

4 point "6 jacks" auto leveling system on my Wildcat:

2) jacks in the front. "Leveling" (it's the usual 5er front legs, but now they are integrated into the monitor and controls of the GC3.0 system.

2) jacks in the middle "leveling" (not stabilizing as TURBS, rather leveling jacks that are integrated into the monitor and controls.

2) jacks in the rear "stabilizing" (not leveling as TURBS, rather though they are indeed electric, they are not integrated and I must raise/lower them from the switches on back.

As for stability, I haven't really felt like I needed JT's, however if you notice a big difference, I could reconsider.

Regards,
Bill

When I purchased my JT's at Goshen in 2014, they had an additional kit to handle what you need. The vendor gave it to me after I mention some issues they where having on a Rockwood getting them to stabilize correctly. Kit had two of everything need to mount the arms. Kit was around $20 best I remember.

It should take a couple of hrs of laying on your back. Remember to measure the distance between the your front legs. They sell two different sizes. Don't ask how I know that but if not right it will not work... Ps: if you have Stab jack electrical in the rear save a hassle and order the kit to...

On our 320RS we have JT arms and find unless we are at a campground for a week or more, we find our 6 point is solid without using the JT arms. They don't seem to make any difference whether we use them or not.

TURBS,
Let me know if you need an extra pair of the strong-arms. I only need a set of 4, not the full set of 6, so was thinking of getting 2 pairs of BAL lock-arms instead, but if you need an extra pair and want to split the cost (1/3) then just let me know

Found my answer.

TAKING UP STRUT PIN SLOP (If J.T Strong Arm Stabilizers are installed ONLY!)

1. After leveling is complete, LCD screen will read“LEVELSUCCESSFUL/CHECK STABILIZERS.” 2. Push “FRONT” button momentarily until front stabilizer pins are tight.
3. Push “REAR” button momentarily unit rear stabilizer pins are tight.
4. Push “ON/OFF” button to turn system off.
