Maybe I'm an exception but it took me about 5-6 hours to install the strong arms. I had to move the front jacks and don't have the impact guns/industrial tools that probably would've made the job quicker. I used my cordless drill and a ratchet set to get them installed plus with 2 kids and a wife thinking I'm just playing around I had to break it up over 3 days.
Wasn't the most fun install either....but they are on and seem to work pretty good.

Everyone has their own pace, there is really no prize for getting it done faster. I moved my unit onto the blacktop driveway which made it much better and used a corded drill and hand tools. I ended up having to move my propane line over a 1/2in so the JT bracket would fit. The real point is you did the work yourself and are/well hopefully enjoy the benefit either brand name provides.

i used used the Strong Arms for the first time this weekend.. We had 20 MPH winds and gusts up to 40mph. Typically this would rock the trailer. also, when ever anyone stepped up the stairs it would rock the trial. No rocking this time
We burned our "if the trailer is rocking, don't come a knockin" sign this weekend, cause we don't need it

I always tighten my strong arms and then just raise my jacks about 1/2 inch to a inch to tighten them up a bit more.. It's actually in the JT StrongArm's Instructions..

In my case I let the auto level run until complete. I tighten the JT's and then in manual mode I just "bump" the front jacks with a single quick press and release and do the same for the rear.

I have found out that you can bump the jacks either up or down. All you are doing is taking the slack out of the mounting bolts. Either way will accomplish the same thing.

I do, I added 2 BAL Scissor Jacks last year in front of my front wheels After I'm level and I bump the front and rear... I bring these down last onto a couple of 6x6 blocks just to snug up the center of the unit .

I have factory jacks in front of the axle and here's the problem.
After I auto level and tighten the jt's then manually bump up the front and rear to take up the slack it leaves my center jacks loose and no one has been able to tell me how to manually bump the middles up.
The center "stabilizing" jacks are only auto up or down. [emoji35]

Arrggg.. Have you tried bumping down as OldCoot suggested.. Or can you add a bump switch to center jacks?
