Kegerator?
We have a class A gasser. Georgetown 364TS. I am also a home brewer. I have always had a keg system in my house. I have the CO2 tank, lines, and taps. What I am trying to figure out is how to get/keep the beer cold. I can use a compartment underneath but I can’t fit a fridge in there. Thought about coiling the lines in an electronic ice box before they go out but haven’t been able to figure that one out.
Anyone else install anything like this?

I imagine that you could use a peltier style cooler like this:
https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...222278906.html
Coil up some copper tubing, enough to hold a mug or two, inside and it might cool the beer off to some degree. Capacity would be a problem, might need something larger with a bit more horsepower to do the job, but it's a starting point.
Regardless, you're welcome to camp next to me any day!

Yeah that’s kind of what I was thinking. I can get mini kegs (2.5 gallon) and put them in the storage underneath. It’d be ideal to have them cooled but probably not worth it. I like you’re idea

I'll be interested in what you come up with, I have the same desire, but in a 5th wheel.

We get our camper out of storage in 2 weeks. I will need a plan by then lol. I won’t be doing full kegs but will come up with something for a small keg

Next question is. Do I put the “tap” as an Filtered water faucet over the sink or as a tap in a compartment outside hahah

Oh the dilemmas. Why not run a line to both?

A thought if you go the peltier route. Attach one or more TECs to your keg. Running continuously, it would bring the beer temp down some. Going more extreme, you could set them up with water cooling. Years ago, a couple of guys in an astronomy club I was in used the water method to chill the CCD chips they were using for digital astronomy. Water was held in a bucket with a bunch of ice. As I recall, they were able to bring the temps on the CCDs down far enough to start having problems with moisture build up on the CCDs due to condensation.
With some serious insulation around the kegs, and starting with cool beer, this might work at sites with shore power. I wouldn't do this on batteries!

I like that idea. I’m finding the TEC coolers only cool about 30 degrees below ambient temp.
I have found my coiled line. Now I just need to find a cooling box that I can submerge the line in a liquid and have it keep that cold. If it were big enough I would just bring a chest freezer like I have at home hahah

Yup I thought a rotomolded cooler should work for a decent trip. Now I just need to buy smaller kegs, a new cooler to cut holes in and the tap lines. LOL. I can already see the look on my DW face. It's not one of enthusiasm LOL

Make sure you lock your tap when traveling, they've been known to turn on and empty a keg and make a mess.

Yeah I’ll unhook it for travel and all lines will be outside I’m thinking so if it does open it’ll just go on the ground.
Yeah my wife isn’t going to know about this one right away hahah

Yeah I’ve been going to him for probably 10-12 years? I’ve always gone to the Taylor store. Now I’ll swing into the Ann Arbor one also every once in a while. Those are perfect size. A bit pricey haha I don’t think I’ve ever even paid close to that for a regular ball lock keg
