King bed in 293REX??

We have a 2013 Wildcat REX and were interested in putting a king bed in it. The 2014 REX has a king bed as an option however it looks like they would have to take out the nightstand and cut through the wall? Any ideas where we would go to get info/quotes on this. Maybe it has to be done while in production? We are in Wisconsin. Thank you. Tammy

I would take a tape measure to it and then explore your options. The king option from the factory does it claim to be a residential king size bed or just a king bed? RV bed size can vary greatly between being RV or residential standards.

We toyed with putting a residential king in our Wildcat, length wise it would fit. Width wise after removing the nite stands it would still be 2" to narrow with in the slide out portion. Gave some thought to going forward with the plan but then figured it was a big enough pain to make the bed with the limited room we currently had to work within.

In the end we replaced the mattress with a 12" residential queen from Costco.

ID:	71356Thanks jonrjen. I attached the floor plan with the optional King diagram. An RV king would be fine. We have 4 dogs and need more room .
It looks like they position the king off to one side so the slide wouldn't interfere.
Problem is the wood beam is there now. The nightstand can be removed but the beam... Not so sure. Your thoughts?
