Kitchen Sink

Has anyone ever replaced their kitchen sink? I'm thinking of pulling out the old "plastic" double sink, and putting in a single stainless "bar" sink in order to have more counterspace. Any suggestions?

Go for it. Manufacturers tend to install light cheap junk. Most of us tend to replace junk with quality stuff when we can.

If you search for sink upgrade and user nowait you can find a thread where I replaced my dual bowl plastic sink with a stainless steel single bowl sink. Worked great.
