lantern holder...

I needed a way to hold my lanterns when we dry camp. the awning posts were the obvious choice but my wife didn't want holes in them. Here is what I came up with. Easily adjusted, quick to install, and don't take up much room when stored. I used some scrap mahogany, made a hole that I bored out under the surface to create a pocket for the peg-board hooks. The hooks are just common peg-board hooks from a big box store. the strap is a stretchy velcro strap and the back is cork. works great! Now when we dry camp, the lamps would provide plenty of light and keep the bugs away with the citronella oil.
