wiring is as simple as hot +, ground - ,motor forward, motor reverse .
if you only want to use remote then you disconnect the manual switch.
if you want to be able to use both manual and remote then youll have to install a double pole double throw switch as well .

I can just picture it now
1) back into the site.
2) mix up a quick Brandy Manhatten with Garlic stuffed olives.
3) plop down a chair.
4) plop down in said chair
5) push button and entire unit sets itself up.

Just wanted you to know, My 2014 Wildwood came with a power pkg that contained a remote that worked the awning, stab jacks (front and rear), slide and the porch light. The only thing it doesn't work is the elec tongue jack.

Funny, I just came across this thread. That is an awesome idea turbo. We just purchased a Salem 26tbud, and as stg1 stated, mine comes with a remote for the awning, stab. jacks, slide out, porch light and even the tongue jack. The only thing it wont do is make my drinks for me...

Sye. Saw the power awning vid on the Columbus trailer. Not interested in the awning but like to know what year and model the Columbus trailer is. I want the door! Been looking and couldn't find one. TIA for any info offered.
