I removed the Lazy Susan but haven't installed anything yet.
I think that is what I will install in its place.
How did you get that in there?

I also need one above the refrigerator cabinet.

Looking closer it looks as if you have a small lip around the edge. I plan on making a raised edge to help things stay on the shelf. Maybe a little molding will do well.

I used 1/4 oak veneer and 3/4 X 1 3/4 pine with a dado about midway so it has a higher lip on the upper side of the shelf.
