LED 921 Upgrade

Hello, I'm wanting to update all my bulbs to warm white led's. Anyone have suggestions or can lead me to some really good posts?

Here's what we changed ours to a year ago and have been very pleased.

I upgraded like Dave did purchasing from Amazon except I got the 3528 flat type. All of the led's are on one side which worked fine in the flat type ceiling fixtures we have. I bought 2 packages (10 per package) and only found one that wouldn't work. I got the warm white also and you can't tell the difference in light color from the regular type bulbs. And the plastic lens is never hot like they were with the old bulbs too which is great.

LED's from Amazon

Bought off Amazon and love the cool white light. They're polarized, so if they don't work just flip around. No more hot light covers.

These are the ones I used on my last trailer and a family member's Class C.

You want bulbs that are rated to more than just 12 volts. Our DC systems quite often run at 13 volts or a bit more. It will shorten the life of a "12v" bulb.

We tried the flat style but changed to barrel style as flats were too dim ....

We used these

The more SMD's - the brighter the bulb

Very illuminating topic.... (sorry, couldn't help myself). Interesting twist. Noticed that the LED's on many of the new units are way too bright for our tastes. We're getting a 2016 Sunseeker and the under cabinet lights above the dinette (very close to your head when seated) were so bright I reached up and turned them off while talking to the salesman. Browsing Amazon now for dimmer bubs.
