LED light strip hard wiring

I have tried looking for a detailed post, but can not find any on this subject. Nobody seems to post pictures of what wires they tapped into.

I need to hard wire my lights into a wire. I just need to know what wire to tap into. The group of three toggle switches, the middle is the outside porch light. I figure I can tap these wires for power.

Is this a good idea or is there a better wire for power?Click image for larger version

That's what I did, the white wires all bundled together should be your grounds. Then you can hook into the hot+ feeding the switches or switched power if you want them to come on with the porch light.

The front step light has a white brown wire and a white wire. B/W should be your hot lead. I just added LED step light and wired into the so called step light. Later RJD
