Led lights for truck bed

Here is a mod I recently completed although it is not mod on the trailer but rather the TV. I added led lights to have my truck bed lit up, so I could see what's in there at night.

Very nice. LED bed lights were in option package for my 2015 Silverado 2500. Really come in handy.

This is another that I've wanted to do, but haven't. Where did you pull power from and are they on a switch and all that jazz?

I have used these in my last truck and in several places in the RV. They are very bright and inexpensive. Mount via screws or 3M trim tape.

I bought a kit at Auto Zone for mine. It came with 8 pods. I put 4 under the rails and 4 across the bed cover. I always run a power wire from the battery to the bed and terminate that at a 12 volt socket. The lights are on a switch tapped into that.

I have mine hooked to rocker switches and power is hooked to battery using my aftermarket relay lines for my fog lights. I have a inline fuse to the battery. The rocker switches I have installed on my dash, where the 4x4 switches would be but they are blanks on my truck. I'll post pictures when I get back home.

Here are the switches, blue for rear and red for fog lights, eventually I'll install my custom switches I've ordered. This will do for now. They are down below next to the cd player.
