Led Replacement Question

Just relieved some 48 chip replacement led light panels for our new Grey Wolf, problem is, i ordered pure white and they are way too brite, the vendor (on E Bay ) will replace them with either cool white or warm white. Help me decide on which one !!!! Opinions please !!

I put the bright pure white in the main living area and the cool white in the bedroom area. Also put cool white in the slide area over the seating and table area. The wife asked to be change the bathroom to the pure white. Cool white did not cut it for doing her hair or make up. Single led night light is plenty at night.

I replaced almost all of mine with the warm white and they are great. Much better than the cool and pure white ones.

I think cool white has a slight blue hue to it and warm has more yellow/orange hue.

Rideandslide go to your local Home Depot and check out the LED display, they have lite samples of each shade of white. Then make your choice from there.People can tell you what they like but its up to you for what you like.

Before you send them back, Put one of the ones you have back in your RV and try the radio and TV, many of the inexpensive LED modules use cheap very (RF) noisy components and you may kill your radio and TV reception.

Also, if you do change from your current color, be aware that the amount of visible light will decrease with the options you mentioned. However, if you increase the total number, and or size of the SMD's on the board, that will increase the emmitted visible light for the other colors. Just sayin'
