LED strip

Has anyone added one of the new (to me) LED light strips under the awing track or on the awning roller? Our boat and camper show this weekend had a number of campers with these strips installed. About 16' long and 300 led's. How did you wire them in, and what type of switch to turn them on. They are kind of neat and draw 24 watts, 12v. Not quite like pink flamingo's, but will do!!!! Thanks

Yes, I just installed LED's on my camper this week but I installed them under my camper and not on the awning. I do not have pic yet but when I do I will post them. I can change the colors from white to about 15 other colors including flashing, strobing and fading, they can be dim to bright and they are remote control. One roll is 16 foot long and has 300 led's. The typy that I have can be cut to size as well.

I was just at our local RV Dealer to day and Camping World is taking over the dealership and they are getting ready to sell the same style I have but there display was not up and running yet....I bought mine on line under "RGB led's"

I just had the dometic 7 color awing light kit installed on my 365 saq. It is 16 ft long. I had it hard wired thru the awning power. So far it is very nice and bright with the click of a switch.
