LED strip lights

Has any one purchased a roll of LED lights on a strip and permanently stuck them to the awning tube, and does the awning roll up normally? We have an electric one if that matters and I know the power brick would have to be removed before rolling up the awning.

We have a 8528RKWS 5th wheeel. I just picked up lite strips and I am going to mount them on the trailer just underneth the awning and down each side.

Just waiting for the good weather to install mine.

Got the one with remote control for multi colored effects -

Just need to dust off my disco Ball and see if my bell bottom pants still fit

I think the OP is talking about a strip light like this, I have a little project for my trailer using the LED strip when it warms up.
