LED strip lights
Has any one purchased a roll of LED lights on a strip and permanently stuck them to the awning tube, and does the awning roll up normally? We have an electric one if that matters and I know the power brick would have to be removed before rolling up the awning.

I think the OP is talking about a strip light like this, I have a little project for my trailer using the LED strip when it warms up.

Haha, I'm not the only one then. I'm really trying to find a UV/black light type...

Indirect Lighting
Working on installing a 300 count LED Strip above the wall cabinets in our 270RET Crusader. These LED's are amber in color, 12V and will wire directly into one of the under counter lights then run through an on/off wall switch inside the cabinet..should look really nice at night and will go with the new step lights that I have installed..

Here you go.......These guys are great. We use them on our bass boats for night fishing. These are 40" long and believe me it would be all you would need onder a canopy. You can also get less intense ones also. Give them a phone call. The will more help than you know. They also make custom orders also. I know they look expensive but you will get what you pay for. These lights have a life time warranty.

A couple of pics... I bought the double sided 3M tape and it would not stick to the light strip. So, I just wrapped the lights around each end of the awning and it rolls up nice and neat with the power awning. I wired them in direct, so no set up time. We are loving them! They are fully controllable via the remote!

I got the above kit for my rig. It works great, although I'm not to sure about the waterproof part. The controller and the power supply are not and the strip looks like it is not coated, but they were pretty cheap and I know that a 150 strip of 5050 LEDs is enough to light the campsite.
