I love to see the pictures, I have been wanting to switch over. I was holding back because of to many options(K's and flat or round style) and the prices are to great to do trial and error.

Just so everyone is clear 3000K LED's are still not perfect replacements. The light is warmish but not true warm. If you look at the paper example photo in the 1st post, you'll notice a slight greenish tinge to the light (probably the yellow lense or film the manufacturer is still not blocking enough blue light).
You'll need to shop for 2500-2700k for almost identical to incandescent performance but Im not convinced it exists in dome light applications yet.
