Yup. Worth every penny.
For you guys with 20+ bulbs, it hurts. For us popup guys, I guess it's just another thing to add to the list of "the benefits of having a pop-up"! LOL
Here's one for $5. There are others, but I don't know about the quality
Amazon.com: LED 18x5050 2W 12V White Omni Wedge Bulb T10 194 168 2825 W5W: Home Improvement
You need either a bayonet base (twist) or a T10 wedge base. eBay has 'em too.

LED bulb prices are all over the board, very low to gouging high. It seems the more lumens (brighter) are the most costly. We checked several bulbs with different lumens to see what would suit our needs and wants. We wanted to be able to read and see well with our lights, not have just a romantic glow. We determined that we needed bulbs 250 lumens or over and cool white. When buying the bulbs, check for lumens, a lot of the lower priced bulbs do not state lumens, just size and number of LED's. We used a company called RV LED Sales (a division of Ocala Hitch), paid under $9 each for 20 bulbs, pricey, but now we have none or little heat from our light fixtures, less strain on our batteries and convertor, and don't burn our finger when turning lights off and don't get a hot head while sitting under them.
Find the bulb that suits your needs at a price that works for you----cheapest are not always the brightest or best for the job.

Are any of these bulbs "plug and play?" Or, do they need new fixtures/wiring?
Thanks!

They are all plug and play.
The ones I use are wedge base (T10) and bayonet base (single contact). Most fixtures in RVs are T10 wedge base if I'm not mistaken.

Bulbs I put in "LED's" were a direct replacement for the stock bulbs. Here is the link to my purchase. Saved hundreds of dollars. These bulbs at my dealer were $25 a piece

For the price, hard to beat, but understand those are only rated for 100 lumens. Stock bulbs are closer to 280 lumens.

I noticed a slight difference in brightness. I left some of the stock bulbs in place, typically where there was multiple lamps. That way if I want the yellow "hot" lights on (winter) I have the option, then also I have the LED's for camping on battery

I bought these for my trailer and changed the lights. I think they are bright enough but you do need to like the crisp white light to get the same "brightness" when my wife came in she exclaimed its bright enough to stitch anywhere in here.
for the single lights like bed lights

For the double lights like living areas
10x Super Bright Dome Bulb 24 5050 SMD LED White Adapter BA9S T10 Festoon | eBay
Not a bad way to spend $65 bucks for 20 LED bulbs
Here is what the Large LEDs in the 2 bulb light looks like compared to incandescent
incandescent (only 1 two bulb light on in trailer at night)
LEDs (only 1 two bulb light on in trailer at night)

I purchased the corn cob type with 68 3014 led's per bulb through e-pay. Claim they're 288 lumens, but still don't appear quite as bright as the incandescent (no heat, of course).

What color are they? If they're warm white, they're not as bright. Did you put reflective foil tape behind the bulb?

I found that the "ping pong paddle" style bulbs were still a bit bright for over the beds especially with the light lens having a magnifier in the middle. so we flipped them over so the light has to reflect off the white back of the fixture that seems to turn the lights into a flood instead of a spot.
As for foil in the fixture I have found that you get better light dispersal from a white back ground the foil just seems to scatter instead of flood the light...if that makes sense?
But in the end its what ever gets you through the night. Pun intended

I did the wholesale change out after checking on the brightness level. 34 lights changed out and wow... what an improvement. I used a company from California called M3LED. The lights are universal for both types of bulbs and I also bought the over the bathroom sink deco bulbs. Make quite the difference with battery usage and heat output for the lights.

Link to LED lighting
I used M4products.com to order all the lighting. I liked the quality of the lights and the ease of change out. Hope you enjoy them too.

Looks Great
I replaced all of our 5er's lights with LED too. They aren't as bright but we like them that way.

Ordered some Leds last week off ebay found 20 of them for 17$ and free shipping they were cool whites and direct replacements for the bulbs that were in the trailer. Will see how it works out when they get here. Price was good but sometimes cheapest isn't best hope they are at least acceptable. Was bothered by the heat of the old bulbs but wife was didn't like it at all and wanted them replaced.
