Lettering Font for Flagstaff vinyl letters?

Does anyone know what the Flagstaff lettering font is, on the exterior?

I called Forest River, was referred to Volema, (the company that mkes the graphics) but sadly, it seems they do not do small job custom lettering for individual private parties pertaining to FR. I was given the color names but the person could not tell me the actual font.

All I want to do is add 6 letters (opposite to the Flagstaff logo) on three sides of my A Frame, that match the lettering style, color and size....you know, its like a house addition - I want it to look like it was 'original' on the trailer.. not look like an add-on.

I now realize I will have to go to a local vinyl shop for help with my project unless someone in the Forum has other suggestions?

Thanks!

Aren't font sizes/styles pretty standard and if so, couldn't a good local shop make an exact match? And if they couldn't copy your current font, couldn't they simply make a match?

Not really - there are thousands of font faces out there. Some that when side by side will make you scratch your head.

Unfortunately, the Op did the best thing by calling the company that did the graphics to find out the specific font family.

Maybe try calling FR back to get ahold of their graphic design company/department that designed the graphics. It's likely that the vinyl shop simply got a print-ready file and that's what they printed/cut.

Ependydad, you are correct. Vomela said they create the art, it gets tweaked by designers & they fabricate upon approval.

That said, I did find the font!

It is "Times Roman" bold & italicized (in case anyone else wondered)

....and that is the trivia answer for the day....LOL

And now I am on to my sneaky project. Lets see how long before DH notices the lettering on the trailer......heh heh....
