Licence Plate Bracket !

Returned yesterday from a weekend campout and while walking around the trailer this morning I saw the licence plate lying on the ground, the plastic brackets had broken off that attach the plate!Anyone know of a modification for this problem.

I had that happen this past fall. Found the license plate in the yard.

The RV dealer had a metal license plate bracket that we used to attach the plate to the rear bumper. I did not want to have the stupid plastic tabs that would just break again.

I had the same problem. I took a pair of tin snips to an old licence plate I had laying around and made a new metal one for mine.

Make sure you caulk the screws to prevent water intrusion. I would change the coated screws with stainless steel ones.

I ripped mine off when I took the cover off this spring. I just used some of the metal brackets with the holes in them. I cut them long enough so the plate sits in the same spot. I took lens off the brake light on that side and screwed the brackets into the housing and then notched the lens to clear. you can`t even tell it ever came off and is much stronger than before!
