Loft bed upgrade wanted

we have a FR/Sandpipper toy hauler that we haul our ARGO Bigfoot around in. The SP is a T21 with a Loft Bed over the garage. the back edge of the bed runs up and wown in a C chanel with human power. I feels like the bearing in the wheels are square, I have to put my entire weight on it to get it down and put some real leg muscle into it to get it back up.

No one in Alaska who we have talked to wants to repair it, or rplace it. I am up for chain/screw drive upgrade.

The CA is 5.2+ feet tall and wants a lower bed.

check these out.
Linear Actuators, Linear Motors, Micro motors, Electric Motors
take some retrofitting on your part but incredibly strong units & smooth, and best part are 12vdc so can hook directly up. have built in limit switches for both in/out limits. apply power goes one way, reverse power goes other. simple.
