Loveseat Upholstery Falling Off
We have a manual love seat that sits in one of our slide outs. The paper work says that it if from Ashley Furniture. It is covered with a material called "DuraBlend. It has started falling off of the area where your head rests when you are sitting in the loves seat. We have someone that can recover it for us. Does anyone know if it comes apart for easier removal from the rv? Also, have anyone had the same problem and purchased a new one? If so, where did you purchase it?

If it opens into a bed, then open enough to get at the bolts that holds it to the floor. Ours had a panel that slipped off, then it was easy laying on the floor and unbolting it.

This a a piece that has two recliners with a center console.

Recline and look underneath. Should be something holding it to the floor.

We had same problem with an Ashley loveseat or socall theatre seat. The problem is with the inferior cover material. Ashley gave us a full rebate in it in the form of a 30 day credit. It comes apart in 3 sections, 2 seats separate from the center console. The releases are at the back. I believe there may have been a class action suite due to this problem which was widespread.

Our trailer is a 2013 Columbus 5th wheel. We ordered the trailer at an rv show so it was new when we got it in October 2012. The same love seat was in the trailer we looked at at the show.

Tip the love seat forward and you will see on bottom is a bracket that joins the pieces together. You can take it apart there. You end up with two bracket rods that hold them together and three pieces. Lift the back of each of the chairs and you will find a clip on each side that holds the back to the seat. Press the clip on the slides and lift the back off the seat. I fumbled a little holding the clips down while lifting the back off but I was working alone, if you have help it is pretty easy. All recliners come apart that way.

Exact same thing is happening to a lazy boy dual recliner with center console. 2016 Cedar Creek. Called lazy boy and they said they would reimburse up to 1500.00 to have it fixed. You would think with name brand furniture, you would be getting a better quality... good luck with yours. BTW, I believe the back can be removed from the unit.

It appears that the fabric is stapled under the bottom. Was your also stapled?

Have not gotten much better, my 2016 Cedar Creek 38el Lazy Boy theater seats tops have fallen apart after 2 years. FF says there is nothing that they can do.

I had mine fixed. Be back home Saturday after cruise. How can I message you then with tips to get fixed?

I use a Leather paste on ours a couple of times a year !!!
Not sure if that is going to help,,, but I am hoping !!!

I believe the material is Ashley Furniture product. We contacted their customer service and got a full refund in the form of a 30 day credit. Check to see if your piece is an Ashley product.
