My low-point drains are right above the tire in the wheel well. I'm screwed either way.

Looks like Highland Ridge 5ers come with protection from the factory. Pretty easy to duplicate.

I like the idea also of buying ready made trailer fenders from Northern Tools. I am gonna look into that idea, measure and price first.
