maxxfan vs. fantastic fan plus ultra breeze

SO I have decided to replace the dinky vent fan in the bathroom (the only fan in the trailer). I am looking at two products, the first is the MaxxFan Deluxe all in one vent fan with rain shield:
Airxcel | Maxxair | Maxxfan

The second candidate is the Fantastic Fan 4000R :FanTastic Vent - Product - Model 4000

plus their ultrabreeze rain shield:
UltraBreeze

The Maxx Fan Deluxe is around 240 shipped. The distinct advantage to this model is that is a much lower profile design which should not only look better going down the road but be slightly more aerodynamic. They also claim you can leave it open going down the road, but I see no reason you could not with the Fantastic Fan plus Ultra Breeze. The cons are that is more expensive, has features I will not use and I question just how much air it can move with a much smaller opening.

The Fantastic Fan is of course what everyone knows, and is rated at a higher volume (925 vs 900 SCFM). However, you loose some efficiency with the Ultra Breeze, but not much. The combo is about $200 shipped, so a savings of 40 bucks. Plus Fantastic seems to be the most recommended brand of fan out there.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

We have the Fantastic fan in our trailer and works great. Would recommend it for sure.

I've had both, but the Maxxair costs less if you buy it as a package.

They both stand solidly behind their product, and my current MoHo has the Fantastic Fan, and I bought a FF for my daughter's MoHo, because they didn't need all of the features (and I'm cheap!).

Just one, this post was asking for specific comparison of the two. you can see the evolution of a decision from post to post...I started off with just wanting to add a rain cover, then to replace the fan, now to which system is best for both. My bank account hates me...

I would say Maxxaire Deluxe -- it is nice to have a vent open / fan on when it is raining -- we have the 6200k and it works well
