Middle slide out roller support
I have a 2010 Ultra lite 2607 and wanted to know if anyone has encountered this issue before or has a fix.
Issue
Pulled into campground and leveled trailer. Wife went to extend slideout and stopped because she heard a crack. I looked and discovered that the middle support was laying on the ground and all 4 screws were pulled from floor. The cracking sound was the slideout extended and the cabinet starting to hit it. No damage because she was smart and stopped. There is a roller on top that the slide rolls on but didn't take the time to see if it was stuck because I was in such a huff that it broke out.
I went to a hardware store and bought 1.5" screws and instead of having only 4 I installed 8. Leveled the bracket and still see it pulling on the floor when bringing slideout in or out.
Here are some photos of it. It is a by the wheel well.
Any ideas in permanent fix?

Slide Out Roller Support Better Photos
Here are some better photos of the roller support under the slide. Even though I have a total of 8 -1.5" screws used to mount the roller to the floor I can still see the entire roller assembly swaying back and forth and don't know if this is normal or not. Let me know if others have similiar layout in their trailer.
Looking at the other brackets and slide motor I see they are secured to the back wall. Not for sure if this should be or not. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Take a couple pieces of angle iron and tie it into the wall so it won`t try and rip the floor up.

That's what I was thinking of doing but didn't know if that would do anymore damage. I called the dealer and they said to keep an eye on it and if problems persist to bring it in so they can see what they can do to elminiate the issue. I'd be curious to see if other slide outs have same mechanism or if Forest River redesigned it.
My concern is that I'm not for sure if it was designed this way for a reason and if I go to secure the mount to the slide wall if that will cause other issues.

I had the same problem on my 2011 2902SS. For some reason Forest River ""engineers" think that putting lag bolts thru 1/8'' plywood and styrofoam will hold anything. I ended up bolting thru the floor and using steel plates as reinforcement

That s what I was looking to do as well but am waiting on a tech from forest river to get back to me. Do you have any photos of what you did? Did you reinforce it to the slide side wall?

My support is directly above my wheel well. I removed the 2 tires, the fender flair and the black plastic wheel well. I them made an aluminum plate that had the same foot print as the roller brace and drilled the holes to match the hole pattern. I drilled thru the floor to the outside and used the aluminum plate as the backup plate. I countersunk the holes in the aluminum plate and use flat head machine screws going up to the inside and I used lock nuts inside the camper. Sorry, no pictures

OK, I can visualize what you did. Was that enough to keep it swaying? In a previous post I read where the guy fastened some L brackets to the side of the slide to keep it stable.

Update from engineers.
Was told to lower support 1/2" as it appeared to be to high. I will try this but wanted to know by lowering the roller support what is this suppose to do? Does the slide out depend on this support?

Well i lowered the middle support some were the slideout rolls easily over the roller and noticed that the support doesnt flex as much. Ill keep an eye on it but im surprised it lasted as long as it did with it set higher than it needed be.
