Post Mirror extensions

Hi there fellow RV'ers I have a '05 GMC 2500HD with the factory powered towing mirrors. My problem is that they do not extend far enough out for me to see past my slide-in truck camper with the power jacks. I really do not want to have to replace the entire mirror assembly as they are perfectly fine except when I haul the camper. has anyone found extension mirrors that slip on the factory one. or any other solution to the problem.

Google "vintage towing mirrors". You should get lots of eBay pages.

I've never used them and I don't know if they still legal or effective, but that's the first thing I thought of when I saw your question.

Try CIPA.com or Etrailer.com They have several mirrors that may fit.

I have a set of Cipas that I used with my 04 Silverado. I'd make you a heck of a deal just to get them out of my garage. I can get pics later today if you like.
