I did the flip for clearance and it was easy and cheap option. My first trip out I must have drug-ass in almost every driveway and I drug my hitch in a couple. And yes, the trailer was/is very level just has a long back end. I thought about just putting rollers on those triangles but thats not a real fix.
As for easy/cheap, I believe 3inches is the perfect lift but to do it I would have had to build a subframe between suspention and frame. This would have been many more hours of build and more cridical meassuring than I was willing to do.
I have some where around 5,000ml after lift and she seems to handle great. I am not sure why but I seem to have less vacuum draft when the big rigs go by maybe the ground clearance is allowing better pressure release????
I do carry a step now
It worked for me
