Mod to increase AC air flow in Lexington?
I read on another thread about an owner who increased the air flow of their air conditioner significantly with a modification to enlarge the opening above the unit. This mod did not look applicable to the configuration in my motorhome but the concept seemed applicable across products.
Has anyone done a modification like this to their C or B+?
I tested this by opening up the "supervent" in my AC which, of course, sounds like a freight train, but it did result in better cooling. And, when you are in the Midwest struggling against 106 degree heat, it's "any port in a storm".
There is, of course, no AC system that can adequately handle such high temps but I am interested in getting everything out of the system I can get!
