Mods Done Before She was Gone
I had been meaning to post these for more than a year, but never got to it and now we've moved on from the Wildcat to SOB. Really like the 'cat' but what we have now better suits our needs.
The first mod (and the first pic) was to install a battery cut-off as we parked the unit at home right next to the house which led to the second mod in this picture - the valve in the hydraulic line to the bedroom slide. Where we park we can't open the bedroom slide, unless we want to hit the gutter and overhang. This allowed us to open just the main slide while parked at home.
The second and pic shows how we raised the waste basket shelf near the 'hole' in the kitchen counter and gave use some more storage under the shelf.
The third and fourth show how we enclosed the opening between the pass-through and the front storage. Just built a wall and gave us more places to 'hang' things - and keep everything in its place.
Next (the fifth picture) was our best mod. We added an electrical outlet to the side of the bed. I used flexible material so the wires have room to move as the slide moves in our out. Much better than trying to step over the mattress pad cord and too we did not have to plug and unplug.
We added a trap door on the opening from under the vanity to the laundry hamper in the pass through. (Picture six) Don't know why this was not a factory thing.
Finally, DW designed a quilted picture scene and we mounted the family pictures in the blank wall above the TV.
