Just ran across this and thought it might be useful to those you are contemplating adding the gas cylinders to storage doors. A lot of info if you click on the pics.

Very nice!! RE: Front stabalizers. You made? Do you have to "install" cross braces each time you set up?

No, they are permanently installed. When the jacks are extended I just tighten the L bolts and that's it. When ready to travel, loosen L bolts and retract jacks. They automatically telescope to the right length.
Yes, I made them and 7 more for our old 08 Flagstaff tt, but so far have only needed the fronts. We will use the camper more this summer and if I need another set, will install before we snowbird to FL this winter.
