Very nice!! RE: Front stabalizers. You made? Do you have to "install" cross braces each time you set up?

No, they are permanently installed. When the jacks are extended I just tighten the L bolts and that's it. When ready to travel, loosen L bolts and retract jacks. They automatically telescope to the right length.
Yes, I made them and 7 more for our old 08 Flagstaff tt, but so far have only needed the fronts. We will use the camper more this summer and if I need another set, will install before we snowbird to FL this winter.

dunnnc, I see you use the "stolen" milk crates as well!
I am surprised the milk crate police haven't attacked yet!
We usually have 4 of them in the back of the truck, the satellite dish stand in one, firewood in another, propane tank in a third, and one to use as a stool to reach into the truck box.
They are the handiest darn things, as long as the dairy is done with them first!

Not stolen by me or family, they were under the house when we bought it 12 yrs ago. In fact, there were 4 of them and they have all been put to use!

Hopefully this awning tie down poles project is the next to the last mod for a while. Still waiting on the jack switch doors to be returned so I can install them. Both were broken when received. Then we are going to kick back and go camping and only come home to mow the weeds/grass once a week.

Crates are the most useful item I have for storage. I got lucky and found a guy on CL who was selling the large ones for $3 each. His dad used to own a dairy and passed away, inherited two large pole barns of treasure, and had 3k of them in one building left over from the dairy days! I bought 60 at a discounted rate. Kids have some for toys, TT has a few for storage, and my wood shop has dozens for storage of exotic wood end cuts and such.

Do you get falsely accused of using "stolen" milk crates also? Some folks jump to conclusions before knowing the facts. Kinda disheartening.

Just rediscovered this mod thread. Pertaining to the storage door struts. Looks like a must do since the street side storage door on our Wildwood does not open all of the way when I am on piped water service at campgrounds. Think FR would have designed a bit better water service access instead of directly over storage door.

I think FR did redesign the water hook up. My Wildwood has all the utilities, except the fresh water tank, fior, all together on the driver's side mid unit. Works great. The fresh water fill is near the back on awning side where the tank is located in the rear kitchen area.

It looks like your model has the rear kitchen slide floor plan. Ours is the galley on the curb side. Fresh water tank is under the front walk around queen bed, between the frame rails on ours.

Was looking to add a lift kit to the storage door today, but it would have been over $53.00 for one lift kit by the time I pay shipping and handling! Not going to go that route for sure! Hopefully I can piece together some things from some of the suppliers around our area.
