Mounted a RCA 24" LED / DVD combo in bedroom

Hi,
Just mounted a RCA LED24C45RQD 24-Inch 60Hz 1080p HD LED TV with Built-In DVD Player in the bedroom of the Coachman. Looks real nice and should work well in addition to the TV in the living area. (need to peel the stickers)
Nice TV but very odd VESA pattern of 100 (4") x 75 (3"). I bought a mount that has a 100 x 100 and a 75 x 75 VESA so I figured it would work. The problem is the holes are 4" x 4" or 3" x 3".
I looked for days for a new mount that would fit the RCA but nothing was VESA 100 x 75. I made a couple of adapter plates so now it works great! (you can see how the 4" holes do not line up vertically with the 3" holes)
One more thing... Do not go by the TV backer sticker. The backer plate sounded / felt like it was there but was 2" below my bottom hole and is only about 3" tall. My mount plate is 5" tall. I used 2" wood lags (pre-drilled holes) into the wood stud next to the TV backer sticker.
Just need to find some beige caulk to fill my oops holes.

Right on, I don't have any setup in my trailer yet but have been wondering how you secure the tv for traveling?? Can it just flop around while driving or is there a way to lock the mount

bowtie_guy,
This is just a very well made, cheap mount that I purchased here for $13.00 and it does not have the locking feature. I did see the mounts that lock for around $80.00 on line. The mount I bought has a set screw that lock the TV to the to of the mount so I can remove the screw and place the TV on the bed for travel.
We are going to a seasonal site this year, no more road trips so I was not worried about it.
