Move Converter closer to Batteries?

I'm getting ready to buy 2 T-145s (only have one 12v right now), and I'm thinking of upgrading and moving my converter closer to the batteries. Looking at the Progressive Dynamics (PD9260CV) and installing just under the hydraulic pump. I do not have a res fridge, but I think that factory installed converter is located there in a 36CKTS, isn't it?

Thx

Reck
