The only LED lights I've added so far are the awning lights. I plan to add an LED light under the microwave to light up the sink area better. I will wire it up to the same outlet that the microwave is plugged in.
If I was going to add lights inside the storage cabinets (which is a pretty good idea!) I would probably try LED tap lights first.
The knobs for the entertainment center drawer and the water pump/water heater access door I got from Home Depot.
The drawer front is a piece of maple that I routed the edges of, then I stained it with Minwax Early American 230, then finished it with a couple light coats of Krylon varnish (the spray can stuff). I had to stain in 2x to get it dark enough.
