is that not a pest control company? $5 a unit to see if there is bugs living in it? lol..

$5 a unit means 201 units were looked at before yours.

Election Day is Tuesday for some places. Be sure and vote for all the incumbents so we will be able to keep all the policies going that they have worked so hard to put in place, for our benefit.

Here's a pic of the trailer's condition as of yesterday. I'm pretty much disgusted with the floor insulation. Another item of near-future upgrade I guess.

Yep, in process. Floor insulation is definitely forthcoming.
For real, yeah mobile home manufacturers must have incredibly small scrap piles. My wife and I had a doublewide on a private lake lot in Michigan a few years ago. I was doing some remodeling in the master bedroom closet. It was nothing to find studs spliced together with 3 seperate pieces. The grand-prize winner was a stud that was put together with 6 seperate pieces! They didn't use the metal spike things to splice them, they were cut with matching grooves, then glued together. Some of the pieces in my prize-winning stud were as short as 3-4". It was straight and strong though!

Here's a pic I found online that shows a typical wall stud in a manufactured home:
