Yeah, up there was the only reasonable space I had available for the water heater, so that's where it went!

I was playing around with the thru-the-floor idea myself. Actually my original thought was to build maybe a 6" riser for the unit and ducting the vent into the riser. The front of the riser would have a vent, and there would also be a floor vent going out through the bottom. During the cold months you could shut off the floor vent and open the riser's front vent to capture the heat. Then vice-versa during the warmer months.

i would still go down then have to go out through the skirting. id loop some pipe so that it heats up under but still gets the humid out from underneath.

Oh how I'd love to have skirting, but it's prohibited at the campground we're in (county apparently won't allow them to have any trailers that look too "permanent").

Well, I pulled the proverbial trigger today and did my 50 amp conversion. Took about 8 hours from start to finish, including a quick trip to Lowe's.
I've now got the cable going through the floor instead of out the side. I'd like to do the same with my water supply.

I pulled the inverter out of the original panel to save space. Since I don't have batteries, and the only thing the 12v powers are a few lights, I could replace the inverter with a simple 12v power supply. Will leave it as is for now though.

Here's a few pics.... the first couple showing my "helper" who wandered by occasionally for supriise inspections.

..... going in for a closer look!

Hey Stuff, RVSkirting.com will not reply to e-mails, I tried for a month, gotta call him on his cell, looks like a great product, but he is slow and hard to get a hold of.

I finally got a phone call from him. His daughter was in process of exams or something and she does all the "Measure - make - ship" kits. mine SHOULD be shipping this or next week.

Love the breaker box! I wish i had a well suited one like that in my rig.
