The bike rack I built was only about 18" from the from of the nose cone to the last bike and would hold 4 bikes. Took a bit of a different approach in hanging.

I completely designed and built the rack (which I still have, but don't use). I found some better pictures.
The hangers were from a Swagman rack

I looked at some of the options people suggested for a roof rack and wow they sure are proud of their product.
Not sure I want to invest that kind of money on the roof if you know what I mean.
The pictures shown for the pin box racks seems to be a very do-able option.
ANYBODY HAVE A PIN BOX BIKE RACK THEY WANT TO RELEASE? PM ME!

PM won't let me post a pic. What pinbox? I have my old one on a Lippert 1621 (IIRC). It unbolts. PM if interested.
