Well, after looking more closely, I managed to get the 150 led set of lights. I am going to get the 300 set. I plan on using the 150 set...any thoughts on where? Hmmm...

Just received my order, 11 days. I have been playing with the 44 remote in the house. Anyone have any instructions on using the DIY functions. The User Manual does give any details.

I just got mine today too.. By default all the DIY buttons appear to come set to white.. Now if you select a DIY button and then adjust the color with the RGB arrow keys, you can save this new color by pressing the same DIY button for a second or two..

Has anyone figured out what the up & down arrows do on the 44 button controler? As far as that goes what do the DIY buttons do?

The colored up down arrows dim or brighten the individual color LEDs.

This allows an almost infinite number of custom colors. Once you have a mix you like, hold a DIY key down to program that key for that custom color.

If I had to do it over (and I may still as it would not be a big deal), I would run 4 wire (like they use in hardwired smoke detectors - I have a spool of it) from the basement (where the awning remote stuff is located) to the LED strip. The only real problem with putting it inside is the remote is IR and hard wired to the control box. (see picture)

The little pigtail with the IR sensor is pretty short.
Could I use the 12v cig TV plug on my Cedar Creek for hook-up? Should I get the 300 or 600?
