I didn't look at the specs but current draw is minimal. As a precaution don't leave them on all night.
I power mine from my porch light so that I can use the switch in the RV to control on/off, eliminates the 110v adapter. I also use an LED lamp in the porch light which is lower current draw also. We don't boondock but I'm all about using minimal 12V power when possible.
The controller is wired directly to the socket in my porch light through a tiny hole sealed with RTV, leads are soldered to the socket.
