Yes I noticed this to Lou.
I thought it was tight enough to not be concerned. Hmmm that just went out the window.
I was thinking maybe installing a positive locking weather pack connector.
I guess I'll pull out the one on the other end for a spare.

I order mine a week ago. Leave for a 3 week trip on the 14th. So I bet mine will not be in or on till after that. I plan to install them on camper under awning.

Mine took exactly 10 ten days from order to door.
I slide mine in the rail as well.

May try sliding it in rail first. Do you have to do anything special to get it in groove?

Seriously, though, everyone says they just snuggly slide into the grooves in the drum.
edit: sideways that is, not straight on.

No tools needed just slide led strip in sideways lights will point up or down in rail not out.
This makes the lights not so bright!

If brightness is what you want after trying that install method then you'll have to do what herk did and two side tape them to wall under awning mount facing outward.
