Much appreciated Gregg. That is exactly how I tried. Besides hooking up power to the WiFi controller is there something else to turn it on. I see no on/off switch. My phone just won't locate the connection.

There is an LED light inside the controller. I believe it is green. Its not very bright to see unless its in a darker area. I can see it somewhat fine in my closet. If you do not see that green glow inside you probably do not have it powered correctly.

Also, is it that you can not get past the Wi-Fi search under Settings, meaning you do not see the controller under "Choose a network"?

Correct. I can not see under WiFi search. Even tried adding it manually with its ssid. From hdx000 to hdx016 and no results. I will check for green light after work. I assume the port with v+ is the positive side and v- is negative.

Correct. You want to see that green glow. That is the only indication that it is on.

Those are cool! Can't tell from your photo but do you have multiple rows as well? I assume it has a special controller to do all of those light dances.

I recently put lights strips on my 2008 Charleston MH. I have 2 slides under my awning. I opted to put lights on slides instead of awning so i wouldnt have to have a plug on awning tube. I am pleased with the way they came out. I mounted one on each slide on top on the slide cover bracket andgled down and one under each slide to give light on ground and inside compartments. I wired them into porch light switch. Hardest part was running all the wires to move wirh slides. I used black circuit lights and they are hard to see during the day

Got 'um done

Here are some picks of my project:
Used KLUS 45 angled channel and ran power down through hole where awning power was run. Got lucky and drilled hole through wall into bedroom. Came out just in front of drawers and kick plate. Ran wire under dresser and down under to the basement...

Tell me about the work and life part getting in the way! Took me way longer than I wanted it too. Between the rain, work and life... Just got it finished in time for our last trip of the summer. DW has to go back and teach all the little ones soon... The 45 channel worked better than I thought it would, Had to teach myself to solder to get the extra LED strip to finish out my 20' run. (Big awning)... That is another story for another day!
