We paid 156.00 for this set on sale but she was unhappy after the perchase. So before I purchase these I want to make sure that it is what she wants. (they probably dont make what she wants). Let me know it these do that. I think that the 25.00 is a great price compared to what I paid for the set that I have. Thanks for your help with this. Anyone else that has them can answer as well I just asked Herk cause he helped on another matter with the awning remote

Okay, I have a couple questions for you. Is that the dusk to dawn switch mounted next to the awning rail in the third picture. Do you have to mount that switch up high like that or just somewhere where it can see night and day. The only reason I ask is because my wife wil not like for me to drill any holes. Why did you get an aluminum box, is the switch not waterproof, and how did youn attach the led strip just with the tape or did you screw it in there?

Thanks Scott

The waterproof box is to house the control for the lights and is mounted at the top of the rail. The photo electric eye is mounted to the rh side of the step cutout. Drilled a hole in the side of the plastic cutout to get to the factory step light and also ran the wire to the ribbon lights on the awning rail from the basement to the factory step light by removing the black plastic well in the basement and ran the wire under the black plastic well. Wire from awning lights runs along side the wires that power the awning and goes thru the same hole as the awning power wire. Just recaulk the hole and put the plastic cover back.

Ok so the box up top is for the awning lights and not the under step lights, that explains a bunch by the pictures. I mounted my awning lights controller in the storage compartment and fed them out through one of the vent popes that run down through trhere and brought them out of the vent on thr=e front on the unit right by my front awning rail.

For those looking for simple ways to power.....order 10m of 4wire rgb led extension cable for 10 bucks off eBay....order a few male and female 4pin no solder connectors and run the cable to the battery box any way you want with cable to spare. Ill be running the extension cable down the edge of my power awning arm until I can swing over to the top of my slide access. Wire will go inside the slide area out of sight to the bottom of the trailer the tie wrapped along other lines to my battery box. Controller will be mounted in the battery box where the remote can be safely stored as well. Look for adhesive wire clips to secure the wire along its path. You guys are doing great.....love it all. For me, I want the controller down low and stear away from putting it up high where trouble shooting stinks for short guys like me when problems come....and easy remove and store when the evil winter returns with all it's dampness up here in the great white north

Strip install will get done in a few weeks..right now I'm just getting ready to install my 12v hour/day timer for my fridge fans...whomever thought a fridge designed to go in a slide with a side wall vent has no idea about fridge efficiency and proper heat dissipation.....two fans timed to run during hours of most use have cut down the fridge recovery time at least 10 times what it was.

NOTE: These are also Female connectors as the black pin retention plastic pulls right out and there are identical pins on the other side. The Black plastic with pins is actually a male to male adapter.

Found out by losing mine.

as you can see in the picture...my battery box is off quite a bit from my awning arm actually battery box door is hidden behind the open entrance door...but by running the wire over the awning arm and down it's side to the top of my slide opening the wire will be completely inconspicuous....install will apear quiet and clean with no overhead fuss, boxes or wires groups....just opinion, but no method is wrong...you guys all did great!.

Herk, do these look like the ones that you used, WITH the 44 Key Controller?

Thought I'd check to see if I missed something.

Do you or anyone know what the "white" setting on these look like? This is what I assume we'll use 99% of the time.

Thanks.
