When did they stop the peanuts in 1st class? When I was flying on Delta, we got free pop, coffee, adult beverages, peanuts, cookies, pillows, etc. and was even offered them while the coach class was still loading.

They probably still serve peanuts, however they are at the bottom of the basket containing fruit, harvest chips and candy. "Peanuts, no thank you, please offer them to those in coach." Lol

Awning Lights in Your Headlights

I read through this thread yesterday and them came across this video on YouTube.

Ford Raptor Headlights Retrofit HID Projectors RGB LED's - YouTube!

This guy put those same LED lights in his HID-retrofitted F-150 headlights!

I put my LED stip on last week up under my awning in a grove on the trailer. I can use them with the awning in or out and with the awning out, it lights up everything under it.

Hindsight being better, I'm thinking that the metal enclosure may be an issue, as there is not antenna outside the box. I've ordered 3 other models of an RF Remote to test as well, some with plastic case and less expensive.

Did your replacement controller arrive? I really like the idea of the RF remote so I'm curious how it works out.

The first RF Controller arrived, and I'm not pleased with the reliability of the controls. Sometimes I have to press a function several times before it takes effect.

I've ordered three other (all different types) RF Controllers to evaluate. Two of them arrived today, and I'll be testing them later today. The third one is stuck in the China shipping backlog, and that's the one that looks most promising.

I will report on the ones that I have in hand tonight, with links to the products.

RodeoGeorge

Edit Add: I just found two more promising RF Remotes. I've ordered them for next day delivery so as not to tie up the evaluation.

My RF unit is in as well. Been really busy getting the camper ready for its annual inspection.

Passed with flying colors. (MANY Kudos to Grows Truck and RV Service, Southampton, PA - total cost 65 dollars - plus 2 bucks for the sticker - and 1 hour arrival to departure) Shameless Plug, but I really like these guys!

Awning Lights-Got

Received ours today..directions not very good as to power source...the kit comes with a wafer battery in the controller..that was probably dead on arrival..Not having another wafer battery, I attached a 110v/12v converter and plugged it in to the sensor...from that, everything worked fine....probably can get that same 12V plug from Radio Shack and wire the lights directly into the 12V RV system at the outside security light...or just just use the 110V plug and just use it like I've got it right now..
Can't wait for the weather to clear up to get them installed on " BERTHA "

Awning Light Local

Like the wall location as well..don't know how long these puppies would like being rolled up in the awning each time...also like the idea of getting another set an really pimping the outside out...would look like Hooters and midnight..not a bad idea...disconnecting the 110V converter may become a pain..will play it by ear...could always hook it up to a car battery outside placed out of site under the coach..wish I had put these on top of the kitchen cabinet now...light selection is great..

Made BIG points with TOWTA when I added them inside the pantry along with a micro switch to turn them on when she opens the door.

Exclamation Order timing from China/Hong Kong

I ordered a white strip LED from Kong Kong on March 25. Was in the mailbox today. 10 days. Amazed.

Have a bunch of other bits and pieces arriving from over there too. Will see how long they take.

Just FYI.
