Sorry y'all- lights came in yesterday... for the power wires, they're red and black. I assume red is positive and black is negative?

I want to test them out before I bring the camper home from storage and though I could just connect them to my car battery; right?

yes; and don't get then wrong. There is no reverse current protection.

I"m in PA - $20 tax included and total time was under an hour including hitch up, drive, return, etc.

What did they do for the other 40 some bucks?

My lights should go on tomorrow or thursday. I'm thinking of trying to add a second outside outlet up near the awning rather than running an extension cord all over the place.

Haven't looked to see how difficult that might be.

Passed with flying colors. (MANY Kudos to Grows Truck and RV Service, Southampton, PA - total cost 65 dollars - plus 2 bucks for the sticker - and 1 hour arrival to departure) Shameless Plug, but I really like these guys!

Storage Compartment Lights

Exactly idea mounting the LED's in the storage compartment...during the day with so much natural light you never think about the night time....I have two lightn fixtures from the factory, but having some LED's will be great...time to hit ebay again...thanks for the info:

Well, since my "so called" dealer used to charge me $125.00 for the same inspection I thought I was doing great.

To be fair, how do they check the brake linings, bearing adjustment, breakaway, and lights for 20 bucks and in an hour round trip to your house?

You already stole my plan. Although I was going to use a NC man switch.

Mine should be in tomorrow. Still not sure how I am going to drill through the wall. I saw something at the store that would work... If it was 10 times smaller.

The 3528 LEDs ARE dimmer (and cooler riunning) than the 5050 LEDs.

So is that a good thing or a bad thing for this purpose?

For me, I want the awning lights in order to have a useable space outside, at the table and whatnot. I want them as bright as possible (aka, the 5050).

Okay, so no one is going to answer my question regarding whether I got the lights that were suggested.
