NDJollyMon's Mod's

EDIT: You will have to scroll throught the pages of this thread to see all the mods I've added.

Well, I've done a few mods...and I'll be sure to post the pics after the weekend. (hosting friends) Hopefully, everything will hold together for the weekend!

Here are some of them:

~Mounted 15" LCD TV on swingarm mount to bedroom wall.
Pic located here: http://www.forestriverforums.com/Pho...to=360&cat=522

~Set up 26" LCD TV with HD/HDMI DVD player. Hooked into the factory surround sound CONCERTONE unit.

~Mounted under cabinet style puck lights to upper front bay section (above windows. The lights are spaced under the windows, above the curtain. You can't see 'em until you turn them on. They are on a 3 way dimmer switch...which you can set to your mood. It lights up the entire front entertainment area under the window/fireplace. (looks swwwwweeet!)
Pic located here: http://www.forestriverforums.com/Pho...to=359&cat=522

~Removed shower head/hose and installed an adjustable shower bar with a massage type head/hose. Now I can set the head higher above my head, or lower for shorter people. The head is much nicer as well.
Pic located here:
http://www.forestriverforums.com/PhotoPost/data/522/medium/IMG_1151.JPG

~Mounted sliding basket in pantry.
~Changed out bathroom doorknob with locking one.
~Added various hooks to hang things on.
~Mounted nice towel bar and towel ring in bathroom.
~New toilet seat to replace flimsy plastic one.
~Mounted stemware holder under kitchen cabinet.
~Added various storge bins, organizers, racks and such.
~Added Master Locking Keybox (with combo) to keep spare keys in...in case I get locked out. (used twice already!)

I have plenty more mods to do...but this is a start. I'll post pics asap.

I can't wait to see the toilet seat in particular.
I did not know you could up grade those.
Only mod's I have done is a couple of stick on hooks
here and there. For pot holders, keys, ect...
It's the first brand new thing we have ever owned,
and I am afraid I will hurt it.

Just wondering how the Concertone handled the add-ons?

My Concertone is a CD/MP3/RADIO/WX system.
The trailer is wired for surround already...just had to plug in some audio cables to a wall jack. DVD/TV sounds great through it. There are 4 speakers on the ceiling, along with a subwoofer.

The Concertone manual says it's wired to attach an iPod...but I haven't figured out how it works. I found a wire on the back with an iPod connection...but I can't get it to work. Have to figure it out....

Tried out the new shower/bar this weekend.
Works great! More water pressure as well. Nice mod for under $40....

Don't have an iPod but suspect there is an accessory cable you can buy for the iPod so you can jack it into a stereo.

Yea...I have one. There is a wire coming from the units back that has a female jack to connect too. I believe it's the iPod jack talked about in the manual. When I hook to it...it doesn't Work. I may be misunderstanding it's use. Maybe I'll launch a post with it as the subject...

Next is the RiteTemp thermostat mod. I found it on eBay...and it's on the way. (I've got to get those Maxx Air covers on too. I have one cover now...but I have 4 roof vents!

I did a couple mods today....

ROOF VENT COVERS:

I bought a new Maxx Air model 800 (w/screens & louvers) to put over the Fantastic Fan in the bath.
Installed it today...very easy... and it works great. I bought it at my dealer for about $90.
They can be had online for less, but shipping costs just equaled it all out.

I also installed the old Maxx Air from my old trailer today as well. Love those vent covers!

I love 'em too. Has to be the one of the best/easiest/least expensive mods to make to your rig. I've got 4 vents and that was the 1st mod I made.

We had a ground level exterior deck, but we added on and raised it up this weekend at the seasonal space. The deck is now 32'x 8.5'. Will be staining and putting up rail soon.

Here's what it looks like now...
