All cans are lined, they have to be by FDA guidelines. In the past year more and more craft breweries are going to cans. The reason behind this is, besides being cheaper, that they figured out most craft beer drinkers will pour into a glass anyway, even if it comes in a bottle. I know I do, unless I'm somewhere without a pint glass, or a solo cup, or I'm really thirsty and can't wait.

Whatever happened to beer in the 16-0z plastic bottles? I used to get Miller Genuine Draft and Icehouse in those bottles, which had a nice screw-on cap. Saw them back in the late 90's in many stores and a lot of ballparks. Then they disappeared. Anyone know the history of these? No bad taste at all from the plastic; no different than drinking water from a bottle other than the obvious advantages.

Hard to tell by looking that they are plastic. You have to grab one and squeeze a little.

I stuff a towel in there before traveling. Open slowly then carefully remove at camp site.

This is evidently a stock photo, as I've seen Turbs's fridge.

Wee keep our beer and wine in a cooler in the front bedroom of trailer. We put it in our outside fridge after we arrive at our site. I like to have a quiet drink and enjoy the campground. Others go to campgrounds to join up with friends and party. Please drink responsibly and remember your sharing the campgrounds with others who may not appreciate your brand of fun.

Call me when you're ready to load up for a trip. We'll have a load up party and drink the beers that are causing all the rattling. However, I feel that they will be all gone before we find the culprit but, either way.......problem solved!!!

Got to the campsite this past weekend and found my wife had stocked the outside fridge with bottles. Wasn't pretty but picked them all up and not one broken bottle. They can take a beating but it's always scary opening that fridge.

Not that you can tell from my screen name, but I too have been afflicted with the yearning of a good brew. I bought the Camco Fridge Brace (see link) for exactly the same purpose.

What I normally do, say with a six pack, is to lay a three or four down, brace them in, then stack the others on top in a pyramid. Works so far.

Dang it ...I thought you needed help getting rid of the beer.

But as far as "storage" there have been some really cool ideas....especially the "keg cooler" one!!!!

Handy chiller

I'm betting some of y'all have discovered that cans of beer will fit on the drip shelf right under the chiller plate of the reefer. Load on right - remove from left.
