Need smallish recliner or reading chair with foot stool

We're looking for a smallish recliner or rocker with foot stool.
Our new rig does not have couch or recliners but we have a spot
for one. We are not large people so don't really want a heavy or
over stuffed chair. Smallish and lightweight and hopefully matching
foot stool.
Any ideas? Googling for this brings up such a huge list and many or most
are large.
All helpful suggestions appreciated!

What color are you wanting. Many of us have coaches that come with the extra recliner & stool that in my opinion is in the way. So I have taken mine out and leave it in the barn.

Have you seen the lazy boy recliners in the 8289WS? They are a leather one and the smallest I have seen yet. If you could put 2 in with a 12" table in between and have two 10" tables built in on the side you know they are smaller then the normal ones by lazy boy. But it is a great chair.....

I guess I don't have a color preference except white is out due to issues
keeping it clean.
Do you have a photo?? Yeah, I know it's COLD in that Indiana barn!!
Post a photo when you can.... thanks!

I've googled this several times but just tried it again and found this one--
not bad looking and not bad price and don't need foot stool.
Might have to consider it-- of course DW gets final say!!

IKEA has light weight comfortable rockers that have a foot stool. Low price and you can get cloth or leather. Sorry, I don't know how to post pictures here.

converting the bunkhouse into a man cave. We bought two rocker recliners from lazy-boy. $300 a piece. Both fit in a 6' space easily.

Sweet! Out with the 8528BHSS and in with the 8528MCSS! Forest River should take note and add the flatscreen with surround sound and beer fridge to the package!

We got these from KMart I think I got them for under $150 I know that our KMart still sells them. My wife has back problems and she says they are real comfortable. They come in pieces so if you can't get them through the door you can put them together in the trailer , foot stools come with them.

Big Lots has a Euro style rocker, glider, recliner for around 200.00 in fake leather or cloth. They take up little space and are very comfortable.

Replaced the two rockers with recliners from a RV furniture store down the freeway from here.
Both are brownish no foot stool, hundred bucks for both if you want come and get them.

Having been in the home furnishings business for 50 years I've seen them all. When we got our Rockwood 8329 last year I took the LA Z Boy recliners out. The one to the right of the table was impossible to operate with the wooden handle down below the table.
We replaced them with power operated recliners that have 2 buttons that open and close the recliner and the buttons are located above the table for easy access. The recliners are narrower then the La Z Boy due to the La Z Boy having the puffy arm tops...but the best part is the seat is wider then the La Z Boy so my dog can sit next to me very nicely.
Here are the dimensions and if you want more info just let me know. Ps it does come in the Bonded leather and matches the Rockwood interior.

We took the table out of our 8329 because the space was too tight.
I do like the recliners it came with, but am interested in what your using.

What is the Manufacturers name and model number and is there a nationwide furniture store that would carry them?

Look at glider chairs with ottomans. They are really comfortable, I spent hours on end in my glider when my dd was an infant. They are also affordable depending on where you get them (available almost anywhere, might need to look in baby furniture for them). Most have a locking component so they won't glide while you are travelling.

We removed our couch and put in two recliners. They are wall hugger and are 26.5" wide. Very comfortable. We bought them from Brad and Hall in Elkhart Ind. I don't remember what we payed for them but they were reasonable. We needed them narrow so we could have a small table between them. Click image for larger version
