New CalMark Cover

Finally got to put on my new cover and I am very happy with it. I am impressed with the quality and fit. Good company to work with. I haven’t received or am in anyway associated with the company. Thought I would pass on my experience for anyone searching for a quality cover. Found them on this website.

COVER

Looks good! ...curious: Is the fabric "woven", does it seem strong...or is it the "Evolution 4" type that is basically a pressed composite that's easy to tear on a sharp corner? (Many very good/very expensive covers do use the "E4) and it's OK, but does require care and some padding. How heavy is it...easy to hoist, tug, pull onto the roof? Is the portion that covers the roof reinforced? Sorry for all of the ?s but (obviously ) I'm in the market for a good cover. Thanks!

Nice cover!

I dont know if you've used a cover before but I will make one suggestion: Pad every corner. Include the TV antenna and anything else with an edge. I initially neglected to pad the outside edge of the ladder with my first cover and was rewarded with 6 wear holes at the ladder area of the cover.

It will definitely keep your rig much nicer!

It is Sunbrella fabric and it will tear, they give you extra pads to put in strategic locations which I still have to do, not sure how you would do that without putting it on first and seeing where they need to be . I think it weighed around 70 lbs? I just used a stepladder and threw it up on the roof. It is reinforced at all the 'corners' including the roof.

Be careful about straps dangling down. Rodents can climb them, go up the inside of the cover, and sneak in the various vents.

Good advice...I am sensitive to this issue. With a previous RV that I had covered...first trip out & after set-up we looked up at the AC and saw a row of beady little eyes looking down at us. We don't mind visitors, but stop short of sleeping peacefully with rodents.

Looks good!

We purchased an ADAC cover. Used it once. Pain to use and store. Guess if we did long-term storage, might be worth it, but the trailer never sits for more than a couple of months at the RV storage lot here in VA.

The best cover made.

Had mine 6 years worth every penny, no tears or rips really heavy duty (I do cover the gutter spouts with pieces of pool noodles). I wouldn’t worry about the a/c or antenna, I never did in 6 years no issues, my decals still look brand new. My buddy would by the ADCO covers they would only last a couple of years.
