There's another version of this lock that has a second keyway on the paddle that allows you to lock out the keyless entry controls in case you get paranoid and think someone has your code

It was slightly larger that the Stromberg factory door latch. I had to take about1/16-1/8th off on the top side of the door latch hole. Otherwise fit and finish are good.

Looks as good as mine, I like the way they are made, seem stronger then the original. Guess you didn't have much problem putting it in even though you were not replacing a Bauer.

I've had mine on for a couple of weeks. Can't get the lock to "wake up" consistently. Tap over and over and it sometimes just won't light up or respond. Bauer has replaced it twice with the same results.
Anyone else having this issue?

No, haven't really messed with it for long. How was the customer service for the return?

I've been dealing with the manufacturer directly as the seller will not take the return.
Bruce at Bauer has been great. He's sent me 2 locks, but I'm finding that either I have the worst luck in the world, or the keypads are not as responsive as advertised.
Also, I've installed hundreds of electronic locks, so I fairly confident it's the lock and not me...
