New tail light mod

My latest mod I never liked the tail light that came on my Cardinal they look cheap and you could not see them in the daylight . So I replaced them with these LED Strips I bought a Iowa 80 Chrome shop. It took me about 2 Hrs had to patch the hole from old ones the took a router and cut the new holes. They are bright even in direct sun light. Next new stripes

Nice mod, Yankees! That is a clean looking install that adds a sport look as well.
I am guessing you have access behind the skin?

bsmall - those look like the same LED's that I am looking into. Do you have any more pics???? Did you get the recessed unit, or the surface mount? How'd the install go? Did you use sealant, and why type?

I think that's all the questions I have!

Stepside, I had the dealer install the lights when I took delivery of the Cat.
they are recessed and the sealant used was the same sealant used around the windows of the trailer best I can tell. Took the guy about 1/2 hous to take the old ones out cut the wires, connect the new lights and re-seal. Dont thinks its to complicated at all. I would have done it myself but the dealer said we will install them for you when it comes in....
Here is a link to the company:

LED RV Tail Lights from Bargman

I love them, they work great what an improvment from the OEM ones...
