New trailer/old problem

Anyone else have this problem and how did you deal with it ? My keeps asking me why I want to modify our new cherokee 274RB trailer and my only answer is "because I can make it better"

Oh yes! I just got my Shamrock 233S a few weeks ago. I told the DW I wanted to add some shelves to the back cabinet as it runs from the floor of the ceiling and that much vertical space is just begging for some shelves. She asked why and I said why not? We can put more stuff in there. She got upset, rolled her eyes and walked away. I'm just going to have to do it when she's not looking.....

Nope, DW and I mod together. Well, we plan together but I mostly execute.

I think TOWTA got the maddest and most verbal with me when I started making the hand rail to put on the wall going to the bedroom. Once it was finished and installed, she was still upset. After the first camping trip and ever since, she says she doesn't go up and down the steps without using it. Ya' just never know how they will react and that's after 54+ yrs of marriage.

After 50 here, I just do it... I also added handrail after she with no balance took a tumble trying to go see who the BOYS were greeting.... WE both use it like it'd always been there. Funny how they either get over it or use to it!!

Thanks guys - I guess I'll go with the don't ask don't tell theory and just go ahead with the 7 mods that I have planned. That is if the weather ever warms up and the snow melts off the roof.

We both use it every trip up and down the steps. Our gyroscopes are not functioning like the did a few years ago. Haven't figured out how to re-calibrate them.

You also have to slick about it and if the DW hasn't crawled all over it yet, she might think she just over looked that..... after all everything's new !!

When I do mods she usually doesn't find out until we go camping. Then if I get in the dog house which is the camper anyway so she just say's OK. But really she has not found some out yet.
